In reply to A. User's post on February 18, It talks about making sure hardware and software are installed properly. All are. It will not let me boot up in safe mode cause windows is not fully installed. Windows 10 messed up my laptop and went back to windows 7 pro it still wasn't working right like it got corrupted so I decided to reformat since I had windows 7 home with a clean key code decided to put it in.

Took it to a pc shop and was told the all the drivers would have to be reloaded. The only thing that wasn't working was the SD card reader. Can't get into safe mode to fix anything. This has got me very stumped. In reply to DMBryant99's post on February 25, Hi, Did you refer to the suggestions I suggested in my previous response and check, if yes what were the results?

If not, would suggest you to try and check. In reply to Mayank Gupta10's post on February 29, Thing is that it will not boot to windows or in safe mode so to do any online diagnosing can't do any. All test that the laptop can do all tested ok. In order to use the websites the laptop has to boot up to windows and does not do that.

In reply to DMBryant99's post on March 1, Hi, I would suggest you to perform Startup Repair and check if the issue is resolved. Do one of the following: o If your computer has a single operating system installed, press and hold the F8 key as your computer restarts. This is what happens when I try to install by booting from the DVD.

Have you tried disabling AHCI for the hard drive? After formatting and beginning a clean install of Vista, I ran into a little problem where the machine would bluescreen immediately on startup after the install. I found that switching the hard drive interface from AHCI back to standard fixed that problem.

According to Dell that system uses the Intel Matrix Storage solution, but they Dell don't give out a Windows 7 version. Download it, and extract it onto a USB drive. Once Windows is running you can get the Matrix Storage Manager application software from here. It monitors the drive condition and such. More useful in a RAID setup but hey. Here are the stop codes from the BSOD: stop: 0xb 0x80D86B58,0xc,0x,0x Googling this tells me that it indicates an 'inaccessable boot drive'. Improve this question. EDIT: Typo. MrAdam So I went ahead and did that, which resulted in a BSOD as before, however when it rebooted it would not boot and gave me an error regarding a bad driver, iusb3xhc. I looked around, and turns out that the USB3 drivers that Lenovo distributes are not the best for slip-streaming into an install. I grabbed the USB3 drivers from Intels website, popped those in, and the install finished perfectly.

I added back the rest of my drivers, installed again, and it worked great. Fresh Windows 7 installation with all drivers pre-installed.

Now onto finishing with adding in all of the updates. MrAdam Habanero.
